Mike’s journey began in humble origins in Shreveport, La., where he began his professional career. Relocating to Dallas in 1991, Mike started working as assistant golf professional at Stonebriar C.C. in Frisco, Texas. A former junior golf champion and jr-collegiate player these two opportunity’s allowed Mike to continue honing his game while still learning golf mgt operations from (2) club professionals who previously worked with Byron Nelson at The TPC in Las Colinas, TX.

Mike served 6 years as Varsity Golf Coach at Trinity Christian Academy (Addison, TX. ’03-’09) where he helped lead the Trojans win back-to-back TAPPS 5-A State Championships in 2008 and 2009. Mike is a 3-time high school coach of the year recipient.

Over the last 7 years he has had the great pleasure of operating and running his teaching business while also serving as GM/Head Professional at the Waxahachie C.C. Mike’s passion for the game is evident with 30yrs coaching, managing and training at all levels and venues.

Mike offers on course training & course management, teaches groups, offers clinics and private sessions. New clients go through a holistic game approach in playing 3-holes, a Short Game & Swing Evaluation along with a Goal Setting
